The committee substitute removes the supervision of the
security officers by the sheriff, therefore they will be hired and
supervised by the county commission. The bill also removes
specifics regarding prohibited activities for security personnel,
but leaves in the prohibition in the green bill that security
personnel cannot conduct any duties granted to law enforcement
officers.
